Audi has begun taking orders for the new Q8 e-tron, with prices starting at 79,900 euros excluding incentives and deliveries beginning in March 2023.This is the restyling of the model previously known as the e-tron, which maintains the availability of the double-body variant (Suv and Sportback) and significantly evolves both the design and the powertrains. The Q8 e-tron is therefore faithful to the outgoing model in general proportions, but modified light clusters and bumpers have made the line more aggressive and have made it possible to reduce the Cx up to 0.24 on the Sportback and up to 0.27 on the Q8 model e-tron. Wheels up to 22" long lengthen the sides, while the front is modernized with the debut of the four-ring logo characterized by the new two-dimensional graphics and accompanied by the model initials on the central pillar.
Customers will be able to choose the Audi Q8 e-tron in the 340 HP 50 Quattro and 408 HP 55 Quattro variants, with new larger and more efficient batteries to significantly improve range compared to the outgoing versions. The 50 quattro adopts 95 kWh batteries for a range of 504 km on the more aerodynamic Sportback and reaches 100 km/h from standstill in 6 seconds flat, while the 55 quattro, with 114 kWh batteries, travels up to 600 km and reaches 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. The top speed is self-limited, in both cases, to 200 km/h. Recharging in direct current, on the other hand, takes place at 150 kW for the 50 quattro and at 170 kW for the 55 quattro. Concerning the options for alternating current, the 11 kW on-board battery charger can be swapped out for the 22 kWh one, which is an option.
