The new Ford Ranger MS-RT

Ford Ranger receives a new special version, developed in partnership with MS-RT specialists. Its strengths will be the motorsport-inspired exterior and hand-finished details.

Europeans are not exactly crazy about trucks. However, Ford Ranger seems to have found the winning recipe and is currently the best-selling pick-up truck on the Old Continent.

Now, the American model can be ordered in a special version, developed together with specialists from MS-RT. Its official name is Ford Ranger MS-RT and will be available in certain European markets starting in the summer of 2021.

Based on the Ranger Wildtrak, the pickup is available in two body variants: Super Cab or Double Cab.

One of the peculiarities of the new Ford Ranger MS-RT is the exterior inspired by motorsport. The front stands out thanks to a honeycomb-shaped carbon fiber grille, and the OZ Racing rims, with a diameter of 20 inches, emphasize the sportiness of the side.

For the interior, the Americans prepared premium leather ornaments, contrasting orange stitching, ambient lighting, heated front seats, 8-inch screen for the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system and MS-RT details on mats and sills.

Under the hood, the 2.0-liter Ford EcoBlue, biturbo diesel , develops 213 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

The unit works with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a selectable all-wheel drive system.
